I recommend using Crazy Domains, their pricing is good & I have had good service with them.
To search for your domain, check it’s available & then purchase it:
Click on the green Crazy Domains banner above & you will be taken to their site
Click on the Domain Search & Register green heading
Search for your proposed domain by typing it in after the “www.____” field.
If it is available then you can add it to your cart & setup an account with Crazy Domains.
If it is unavailable you need to think of a new URL (perhaps instead of “yourwebsite.com”, “yourwebsite.co.nz” may be available or perhaps “yourwebsite.nz”. You may also need to consider a totally different url if all though are unavailable.
Your domain could also be a “premium domain” which means someone has bought that domain in hopes you will pay a fortune to secure it. To get one of these domains back is usually very expensive, as you will see when you add to cart.
